The Martin County Fire Rescue Explorer Post 836 is a division of the Boy Scouts of America, Adventuring program. The Florida Fire Chief's Association recently unanimously approved a section for the Fire Cadets to improve communication and involvement between posts. This program was designed with the intent of allowing young adults the chance to gain first hand experience in the field of Fire Rescue. We are located in Martin County, Florida which is on the east coast just north of Palm Beach County. As an Explorer you will learn important life skills such as team work, leadership and responsibility. You will also learn the necessary skills to become a successful Firefighter. You will learn basic Firefighting techniques, Emergency first aid, CPR and much more. As an Explorer you will ride along side Firefighters and Paramedics and help them during real life emergencies.
